Après la pluie...

Hier soir, lors de notre pique nique hebdomadaire, ma copine A. et moi avons été surprises par une averse. Nous nous sommes réfugiées sous le Pont Neuf et avons eu une belle vue sur la Seine et le Pont des Arts.
Yesterday evening, during our weekly pic nic, my friend A. and I had to face acloudburst and ended under the Pont Neuf from where we had a nice view on the Seine and the Pont des Arts.
Wczoraj wieczorem podczas tygodniowego piknika, koleżanka A. i ja spotkałyśmy ulewę i pobiegały pod Pont Neuf skąd miałyśmy piękny widok na Sekwanę i Pont des Arts.

MacBeth, enfin!!

Mes chers lecteurs, après 11 ans d'attente, j'ai enfin eu l'occasion de voir une représentation de MacBeth au Théâtre de verdure du Jardin Shakespeare dans le Bois de Boulogne! En 2000, j'avais déjà prévu une telle sortie et elle fut annulée pour cause de pluie. Quelle déception!
Alors dès que j'ai eu vent d'une nouvelle représentation de cette pièce, je n'ai pas hésité une seconde et ai réservé une place! Une injustice était réparée et l'après midi fut excellente!

My dear readers, today was a great day! I could finally see the play MacBeth on the Open air Theatre of Shakespeare Garden in the Bois de Boulogne. Already in 2000, I wanted to see this play but because of bad weather, it was cancelled. What a disappointment! As soon as I heard of this new representation of this play, I bought my ticket online and had today a brilliant afternoon! If you want to know more about the theatre company you can go there!

I don't think I need to introduce this arch. I took this picture on June 2nd coming back from St Germain. It was built under Napoléon in 1809 to honour the Grande Armée (Napoleonic Forces). To know more about it, you can click here!
