J'aime beaucoup les larges quais de la ligne 1 de la station Gare de Lyon avec ses piliers en acier.
Bardzo podobają mi się szerokie perony pierwszej linii metra na dworcu lyońskim z ich stalowymi filarami.

I really like the platform of the first line of the Mteropolitain at the Gare de Lyon. They are large and I like their steel pillars. 

Le Petit train

Cet après-midi je me suis promenée à Montmartre, haut lieu touristique, et suis tombée sur ce petit train.
Dzisiaj po południu spacerowałam sobie po Montmartre, bardzo turystycznym miejscu, o to wszyscy wiedzą a widziałam ten pociąg.
Today afternoon I roamed around in very touristy Montmartre and I saw this little "train".

Hall de la Gare de l'Est

Depuis quelques années, j'aime la Gare de l'Est. Auparavant elle me semblait triste et délaissée, mais depuis sa rénovation elle m'apparaît splendide grâce à son style Art Déco, peu visible sur la photo, je l'avoue.
Od kilku lat podoba mi się "Gare de l'Est" (Paryż Wschodni). Wcześniej wyglądał smutny i zaniedbywany. Ale od remontu jest wspaniały z powodu jego stylu "Art Deco" ktorego nie bardzo widać na zdjęcie.

For some years I have liked the Gare de l'Est (Eastern station). She used to look sad and untaken cared of before her renovation. Since then She looks splendid to me thanks to her Art Deco architectural style that we can barely see on the picture, I admit.

The "little belt" was a former public transportations line which ran around Paris, like a belt. It had been abandonned in 1934 even if the RER C uses it partly for a short while in the North Western part of Paris and soem RER C stations like Boulevard Henri Martin or Porte Maillot are former Little Belt train stations.

this circular trafic was replaced by busses PC1, PC2 and PC3 (PC stands here for Petite Ceinture) and the Highway belt for the car riders.

Some associations are fighting for a revival of this train now that Paris misses a circular transportation.
