Le Chevalier de la Barre

La nouvelle statue du Chevalier de la Barre, défendu par Voltaire et exécuté pour n'avoir pas soulevé son chapeau au passage d'un évêque.
Przedstawiam wam posąg Rycerza de la Barre. Ten młody człowiek był skazany na śmierć dlatego, że nie pozdrawiał biskupa kapeluszem. Był obroniony przez Voltaire'a ale przygrał. Jest teraz znanym jako ofiara religijnego obskurantyzmu.

Here is the statue of the Knight de la Barre defended by Voltaire and then executed because he did not salute properly a bishop. he's known now as a martyr of religious obscurantism.

Dans mois déjà: Noël!

Je me suis rendue compte que dans un mois, c'est Noël, ce matin en attendant mon bus!
Czekając na autobus dzisiaj rano, dałam sobie sprawę, że Boże Narodzenie się nadchodzi!
Waiting for the bus, I realised, Christmas was not really far away from now!

Salon du Chocolat 2008

Hier je suis allée au Salon du Chocolat, Porte de Versailles. J'espèrais évidemment pouvoir toucher à tout, les dégustations furent plutôt rares, mais bonnes!

Wczoraj zwiedzilam "Salon du Chocolat". Mialam nadzieje, ze zjem duzo czekolady, ale nie za bardzo. Szczesliwie czekolada smakowala!

Yesterday, I went to the "Salon du chocolat" I hoped to eat tons of it but there were not to many to try. At least the ones I could try tasted good!
