Sainte Chapelle

The Saint Chapel was built under the reign of Louis IX, AKA St Louis to receive Christ's bones. To my mind it's one of the prettiest Church in Paris. In the Middle Age it was part of the Royal Palace and now it's in the middle of the court.

It is a wonderful experience to stand there and look up at the incredible windows and that golden altar. A sight that noone should miss on their visit to Paris.

I love how you took this photo Elsa. The lighting is incredible. Good that building this beautiful chapel didn't depend on having His bones, since He took them with Him! I hope I get to see this in person someday. Thanks for sharing it. I love all your photos!
